Baylor was a place where I made many friends who have changed my life. Karen Pope, Art History Department. My classes for my major were taken by Dr. Pope. We also went to Paris and Chicago in order to study the art. She made studying art great fun and a day doesn't go by that I don't remember her sayingthat "Art History is a giant puzzle, and we as historians constantly search for pieces to connect." One summer, I worked as a mechanic's assistant replacing brake pads as well as oil.
